WHO: Vaccine preference not same as hesitancy

A WHO official stated on Monday that having a preference for one COVID-19 vaccine over another does not equate to vaccine hesitancy.

Dr. Rabindra Abeyasinghe noted that there is high eagerness among Filipinos to receive vaccines, with local governments struggling to meet the demand.

Abeyasinghe clarified that while some places may prefer certain brands of vaccines, this should not be misconstrued as vaccine hesitance.
