Batangas governor: Classes may resume soon in non-lockdown areas

Batangas Governor Hermilando Mandanas says classes may resume soon in areas not under lockdown due to the restive Taal Volcano.

Mandanas stated during a press conference on January 21 that schools outside the 14-kilometer danger zone could reopen by Monday if conditions improve.

Classes have been suspended since January 19 when the volcano was placed under Alert Level 4, and Batangas remains under a state of calamity.
