Manila, Angeles City give P1k to vulnerable residents

Manila and Angeles City governments are distributing cash assistance to vulnerable residents affected by the lockdown.

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno will give P1,000 to 568,000 families starting April 7, while Angeles City allocated P1,000 each to senior citizens, persons with disabilities, tricycle and jeepney drivers, and solo parents.

The cash assistance complements the P5,000 aid from the Department of Social Welfare and Development under the government’s Special Amelioration Program.
