Cavite governor asks for middle class in social amelioration program

Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla has asked President Rodrigo Duterte to include middle-income families in the social amelioration program.

Remulla argued that middle-class families are also struggling due to the pandemic and contribute significantly to the economy.

In response, actor Robin Padilla, a supporter of Duterte, advised Remulla to prioritize poor families given the country's limited resources.
