W. Visayas logs 6 new OFW cases, total reaches 164

Western Visayas has recorded 164 confirmed coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases as of Thursday, with six new OFWs testing positive.

Four of the infected OFWs are from Bacolod City: a 37-year-old male, a 40-year-old male, a 38-year-old female, and a 35-year-old male.

Two other OFWs who tested positive include a 44-year-old male from Oton and a 25-year-old male from Miagao, both in Iloilo Province.

On Tuesday, the region reported six new cases and two recoveries, bringing the total confirmed cases to 153 with 39 active cases, 103 recoveries, and 11 deaths.
