PAGASA: Frontal system brings scattered rains over Visayas, Mindanao

PAGASA reports that the tail-end of a frontal system and northeast monsoon will affect various parts of the Philippines, bringing scattered rains and thunderstorms over Visayas, Mindanao, and some areas in Luzon.

Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, Zamboanga Peninsula, Palawan, Albay, Sorsogon, and Masbate will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, potentially leading to flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.

Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Metro Manila, and other parts of Luzon will have cloudy skies with light rains from the northeast monsoon, with no significant impact.

PAGASA continues to monitor an active tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility located east of Mindanao.
