Velasco urges Cayetano to pass 2021 budget, resign on Oct 14

Marinduque Rep. Lord Allan Velasco urged House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano to finish deliberations on the PHP4.5-trillion 2021 national budget and resign by October 14.

Velasco criticized Cayetano's political maneuverings, saying they are derailing the passage of the budget and wasting crucial time.

Cayetano offered to step down but the House plenary rejected his resignation and suspended budget deliberations until Friday.
