House defers PCOO budget over undersecretary's red-tagging

The House of Representatives has deferred discussions on the PHP1.59-billion budget for the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) until PCOO Undersecretary Lorraine Badoy issues an unconditional apology to lawmakers she allegedly red-tagged.

Minority Leader Bienvenido Abante said an apology with conditions is insincere and demanded Badoy's removal, noting her actions do not embody proper civil servant conduct.
