UST extends winning streak to four with victory over EAC

University of Santo Tomas extended its winning streak to four games in the 2024 V-League Men's Collegiate Challenge with a decisive victory over Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals, Sunday.

The Golden Spikers won the match 25-18, 25-17, 25-19 at Paco Arena in Manila.

Paul Colinares led UST with 11 points and six kill blocks, while rookie JJ Macam and Karbe Malabunga contributed key points; Jay Rack De La Noche also added 10 points.

With a 4-2 record, UST is currently in solo third place behind joint leaders Far Eastern University and De La Salle University, both with 4-1 records.

Coach Odjie Mamon emphasized building the team moving forward despite committing 28 errors during the match.

UST will conclude their elimination round on Sept. 11 against Ateneo de Manila University at 12 p.m.
