UP defeats NU 78-60 in UAAP

University of the Philippines defeated National University 78-60 in a UAAP Season 86 men's basketball game on Saturday.

Francis Lopez led UP with a career-high performance, scoring 14 points and contributing seven rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block.

UP turned the game around after holding a slim lead midway through the third quarter by executing a crucial 21-9 run that extended into the fourth quarter, securing their victory with an 18-point lead.
