National University's women's basketball team secured a dominant 95-58 victory over Far Eastern University on Wednesday, sharing the early lead in the UAAP Season 86 tournament.

Coach Aris Dimaunahan praised FEU’s Congolese player Josee Kaputu for her performance despite the lopsided score, noting that recruiting foreign players enhances competition.

NU's balanced attack saw multiple players contribute significantly: Tin Cayabyab led with 16 points, Camille Clarin added 15, and Princess Fabruada and Ann Pingol each scored 12 and 11 respectively.
