NU Lady Bulldogs dominate Ateneo in UAAP season opener

National University's Lady Bulldogs opened their bid for an eighth consecutive UAAP championship with a dominant 77-57 victory over Ateneo on Sunday at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion.

Ann Pingol led NU with 11 points, while Camille Clarin added 11 points along with seven rebounds and four assists.

The Lady Bulldogs' defense was particularly effective, forcing 26 turnovers and limiting Ateneo's Kacey Dela Rosa to just seven points on five field goal attempts before fouling out in the third quarter.
