NU Bulldogs aim for UAAP men's volleyball four-peat

The NU Bulldogs, defending champions with a three-peat and a 34-game winning streak dating back to Season 81, remain strong contenders in the UAAP Season 86 men's volleyball tournament as they aim for another championship this year.

Coach Dante Alinsunurin emphasized the importance of maintaining focus despite their impressive record, noting that NU faces improved competition from teams like UST, which recently defeated them in the PNVF Challenge Cup finals.

The team's success is bolstered by key players Joshua Retamar and Jade Disquitado, who have decided to stay with NU for one last hurrah under Alinsunurin’s guidance.

Alinsunurin highlighted the positive impact of these players on team dynamics both inside and outside the court, as they prepare to defend their title against UST in the season opener.

NU Bulldogs will kick off their Season 86 campaign against University of Santo Tomas on Sunday at 12 PM in Pasay.
