PH sets entry rules for foreigners starting Feb 1

The Department of Tourism welcomed new protocols for foreigners entering the Philippines starting February 1.

Foreigners must pre-book hotels for quarantine purposes and undergo an RT-PCR test six days after arrival, according to Malacañang.

Travelers will also be required to take a Covid-19 test on the fifth day instead of upon arrival, as approved by the IATF-EID.

Entry is subject to existing visa requirements (except for Balikbayan program participants) and maximum capacity at ports.
