TNT Tropang Giga defends Governors' Cup title with Game 6 win

TNT Tropang Giga secured its title defense in the PBA Governors' Cup with a decisive 95-85 victory over Barangay Ginebra in Game 6 on Friday, November 8.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led TNT to their second consecutive Governors' Cup title with a near triple-double of 31 points, 16 rebounds, and 8 assists.

Despite RJ Abarrientos' career-high 31-point performance for Ginebra, the team fell short in their attempt to force a Game 7 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

TNT's Chot Reyes emphasized the need for continued strong play from veterans like Kelly Williams and Jayson Castro throughout the series, culminating in this championship win.

Ginebra coach Tim Cone acknowledged his team's poor performance in Games 5 and 6 but praised Abarrientos' effort as a rookie standout.
