TNT acquires Jordan Heading from Converge, Mikey Williams' rights pending PBA approval

TNT has secured former Gilas guard Jordan Heading from Converge FiberXers in exchange for Mikey Williams, pending approval by the PBA Commissioner's Office.

Converge rallied from an 18-point deficit to defeat Terrafirma 117-103 on Wednesday before submitting trade papers for Heading to join TNT and acquire Williams' rights.

Heading received goodbye messages from his Converge teammates after the game, confirming he had been informed of the trade earlier in the day by team owner Dennis Anthony Uy.

Despite a fifth straight win against NorthPort on Friday at Smart Araneta Coliseum, questions about the Jordan Heading-Mikey Williams trade persist as it has not received approval for the second consecutive day.

TNT's coach Chot Reyes declined to comment on the deal until official approval is given by the PBA office.
