PBA approves trade: Jordan Heading to TNT, Mikey Williams to Converge

On Monday, the PBA officially approved a trade sending Jordan Heading to TNT Tropang Giga in exchange for Mikey Williams.

Heading, who has been sidelined since joining Converge due to a back injury and hasn't played in the ongoing PBA Philippine Cup, is expected to bolster TNT's Grand Slam bid with Jayson Castro out of action.

Williams, meanwhile, returns to the league after not playing since 2023 for TNT and will now join Converge where he may still need to work on a contract before making his return.

The trade was submitted to the PBA five days prior and marks the end of a long saga between Williams and TNT, with whom he led to two championships but had a contract dispute.

Heading, who was the first overall pick by TerraFirma in the special round of the 2020 Draft for Gilas Pilipinas players, expressed gratitude towards Converge for their respect throughout his stint there.
