CSB coach criticizes players for blowing big lead in win

College of St. Benilde's coach Charles Tiu expressed deep disappointment after his team narrowly won a game against San Sebastian College-Recoletos in overtime, despite holding a 26-point lead at one point.

Tiu criticized his players for blowing their advantage and accumulating 31 turnovers during the match, which ultimately led to a close 96-94 victory that kept CSB at the top of NCAA Season 100 standings with a record of 6-1.

The coach remains concerned about the team's performance, warning they could easily lose to Arellano University if they continue playing poorly in their upcoming Friday match at Filoil EcoOil Arena.

Tiu emphasized that his players need to improve significantly, as he believes Arellano should be a Final Four contender and will likely defeat CSB if they do not step up their game.

CSB is set to face Arellano University on Friday at 12:00 pm, with the coach promising harsh practice sessions for his team following Tuesday's disappointing performance.
