PAGASA issues thunderstorm advisory for Luzon, warns of severe weather

Moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds continue to affect several regions in Luzon, including Quezon Province, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Bataan, Zambales, Nueva Ecija, Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Quezon, Batangas, Laguna, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Cavite as of Wednesday afternoon.

PAGASA issued a thunderstorm advisory at 1:34 p.m., warning that these conditions may persist for up to two hours in affected areas.

Residents in Tagkawayan and Guinayangan in Quezon Province, Calamba and Cabuyao in Laguna, as well as Metro Manila and nearby provinces such as Rizal, Bulacan, Quezon, Batangas, Laguna, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Cavite are currently experiencing severe weather.

PAGASA advised affected residents to be cautious of flash floods and landslides due to the ongoing weather system.

The state weather bureau urged people in the affected regions to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
