Philippines to have warm, humid weather with isolated rain showers

Most areas in the Philippines will continue to experience warm and humid weather due to easterlies, with isolated rain showers lasting about 30 minutes.

Weather specialist Rhea Torres of PAGASA noted that temperatures could reach up to 36°C in Tuguegarao; 34°C in Legazpi, Metro Manila, Davao, and Zamboanga; and 33°C in Tacloban, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Kalayaan Islands, Puerto Princesa, and Laoag.

The frontal system affecting Northern Luzon will continue to bring scattered rains and thunderstorms across the area, while a southwest monsoon is expected to cause rains over most parts of the country this week.

Moderate winds and seas are forecast in extreme Northern Luzon, with light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas elsewhere.

No low pressure area was monitored by PAGASA, and no tropical cyclone is expected to enter or develop within the next three days.
