Arvin Taguinota wins two golds, Maniago sets new record

Arvin Naeem Taguinota II of Pasig City won two more gold medals Wednesday, bringing his total to five in the Batang Pinoy National Championships in Puerto Princesa City.

Taguinota dominated the boys' 12-13 100m backstroke with a time of 1:04.30 and secured another gold medal in the 4x50m freestyle relay event, further solidifying Pasig City's lead on the medal tally board.

Sophia Rose Garra of Malabon City continued her strong performance by winning her third gold medal from Sunday's events, including the girls' 12-13 200m backstroke and two other freestyle events.

Jaime Uaandor Maniago of Quezon City set a new record in the boys' 16-17 100m breaststroke event with a time of 1:06.78, breaking last year's mark.

Gavin Moses Ti and Zara Mae Chua achieved milestones by sweeping the boys and girls 14 to 15-year-old box obstacle course in their debut at the Batang Pinoy National Championships.
