DOH: St. Luke’s, Lung Center to start COVID-19 testing this week

The DOH announced that St. Luke’s Medical Center Quezon City and Global City will begin COVID-19 testing this week, while the Lung Center of the Philippines in Quezon City will start on Tuesday.

Five sub-national laboratories have received certification from RITM to conduct COVID-19 testing, with over 40 other public and private hospitals expressing interest.

The sub-national labs can process more than 200 samples daily, while RITM can handle up to 1,000 tests per day.

Previously certified labs in Davao, Cebu, Northern Luzon, and Metro Manila are now ready for full-scale testing after receiving certification from RITM.
