McCullough leads Strong Group to second straight win over Al Nasr

Chris McCullough led Strong Group Athletics to a second consecutive victory over Al Nasr in the Dubai International Basketball Championship on Sunday (Manila time), extending their record to 2-0.

McCullough scored 31 points, including 12-of-16 from the field and nine rebounds, with Mikey Williams contributing 16 points and four assists.

Dave Ildefonso added 13 points for Strong Group, while Jason Brickman contributed nine points and six assists in their dominant win of 99-87 over Al Nasr.

Former NBA players DeMarcus Cousins and Malachi Richardson scored eight points each but saw limited action as the team secured a strong lead with McCullough's three-point play making it a 67-40 spread midway through the third quarter.

Strong Group will face Beirut First on Sunday at 9:00 p.m. UAE time (Sunday, January 27 Manila time) to aim for their third win in the tournament.
