Strong Group Athletics secure fourth straight win in Dubai

The Strong Group Athletics secured their fourth consecutive victory in the Dubai International Basketball Championship by defeating Amman United Club from Jordan with a score of 84-75 on Thursday (Manila time), ensuring an undefeated record in Group A.

Strong Group maintained a consistent lead throughout the game and extended their advantage to 17 points early in the final quarter, thanks to key baskets from Chris McCullough and Rhenz Abando.

Malachi Richardson led Strong Group with 24 points, including six three-pointers, while Chris McCullough contributed 19 points along with eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

Strong Group will face Sharjah SC of the host United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the quarterfinals on Friday at 1 a.m. Manila time.

Zamboanga Valientes concluded their participation in the tournament with a loss of 95-59 against Tunisia on Thursday (Manila time), finishing winless in four games.
