Chris McCullough returns to Strong Group Athletics for Dubai tourney

Chris McCullough has rejoined Strong Group Athletics for the upcoming 34th Dubai International Basketball Championship, replacing Terry Larrier.

Coach Charles Tiu expressed gratitude towards McCullough's decision to play again and highlighted his efforts in obtaining permission to join the team.

McCullough played a crucial role during SGA's championship run in the 2024 William Jones Cup, earning MVP honors with impressive statistics of 21.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game.

Joining McCullough on the roster are NBA veterans DeMarcus Cousins and Malachi Richardson, alongside other notable Filipino players such as Rhenz Abando, Ange Kouame, Dave Ildefonso, Mikey Williams, Jason Brickman, Allen Liwag, Tony Ynot, and Justine Sanchez.

SGA aims to redeem themselves after losing in last year's finals and will begin their campaign against Dubai National Team on January 24 at 11:00 p.m. Manila time.
