Strong Group Athletics advance to Dubai semis

Strong Group Athletics secured their position as the sole top seed in the 34th Dubai International Basketball Championship after defeating Beirut First by a score of 95-88 and Amman United with an 84-75 win on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

On Thursday (UAE time), Strong Group advanced to the semifinals with a dominant 100-63 victory over Al Sharjah Club, limiting them to just 26 points in the second half.

DeMarcus Cousins led the way for Strong Group with 21 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Chris McCullough's 20 points.

Strong Group continues their undefeated streak heading into the semifinals as they prepare for their next match on Saturday (Manila time), alongside Tunisia National Team who also advanced to the semis.

The Philippine team is just two wins away from reclaiming the Dubai International Basketball Championship title.
