PAGASA: Ulysses could trigger 3-meter storm surge in Luzon

PAGASA warns that Typhoon Ulysses could trigger a 3-meter storm surge in several coastal areas of Luzon, including Metro Manila.

As of Wednesday, high-risk areas for storm surges include Aurora, Quezon (including Polillo Islands and Camarines Norte), and other parts of eastern and northern coastal regions.

PAGASA raised its alert to the second-highest level due to potential moderate to significant damage in these areas, advising evacuation in specific municipalities.
