Duterte doesn't blame anyone over vaccine delay

President Rodrigo Duterte does not blame anyone within the Philippine government for the delayed arrival of COVID-19 vaccines.

Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles stated on Tuesday that shipping the vaccines is the responsibility of the manufacturers, and the Philippines cannot control this aspect.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said on Monday that the delay in Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine delivery is not a significant issue since only 117,000 doses are involved.

Roque also denied Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon’s claim of mismanagement causing the delay, attributing it solely to the lack of an indemnification law.
