Duterte falsely claims Philippines sole recipient of Chinese military vaccine deliveries

President Rodrigo Duterte falsely claimed that the Philippines was the only country to receive COVID-19 vaccines from China via military aircraft.

Research Fellow Collin Koh of S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies reported that a Chinese military transport plane delivered Sinopharm vaccines to Cambodia on February 7, three weeks before the Philippine delivery of Sinovac vaccines.

Duterte made this claim during a press conference on February 28 in response to a question from CCTV about China's vaccine distribution efforts.
