LPA brings rain, storms to southern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao

A low-pressure area (LPA) is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

PAGASA warned residents in these areas about possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.

As of Saturday, the LPA was located 500 kilometers east of Surigao City.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
