PNP: 30 more cops recover, active cases at 412

As of Wednesday night, at least 30 more police officers have recovered from COVID-19, bringing total recoveries to 7,773.

The number of active cases within the PNP is now 412 with 22 new infections reported.

Of these new cases, PRO Cordillera has the highest count at 11, followed by PRO 10 and others with fewer cases.

Since Monday, three senior police officials have tested positive for COVID-19, including Northern Police District chief Ronnie Ylagan, Firearms and Explosives director Rommil Mitra, and Joey Runes from the Office of Chief PNP.

The total number of confirmed cases in the Philippines is 432,925 with 398,782 recoveries and 8,418 fatalities.
