Taguig mayor urges vigilance despite low COVID numbers

Taguig Mayor Lino Cayetano urged residents to remain vigilant despite the city having some of the lowest COVID-19 case numbers in Metro Manila.

Cayetano reminded constituents to continue observing health protocols during the holiday season to prevent a spike in cases.

The mayor noted that daily reported cases have stabilized at around 41, with Taguig recording a total of 9,890 cases so far.

Recently, two elderly residents contracted COVID-19, prompting Cayetano to emphasize the vulnerability of senior citizens and the importance of adhering to health protocols.
