Central Luzon reports 87.6% recovery from COVID-19

As of Wednesday, December 9, Central Luzon has reported an 87.6% recovery rate from COVID-19, with 20,673 recoveries out of a total of 23,608 cases.

The region also recorded 2,068 active cases and 867 deaths, representing 8.8% and 3.7% of the total caseload respectively.

On Tuesday, December 8, Central Luzon reported 555 new recoveries, bringing the recovery rate to 87.5%, with 20,483 recoveries out of a total of 23,408 cases.

The region also saw an increase in active cases by 276, raising the total to 2,085, and reported 18 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 840.
