Covid-19 recoveries in Central Luzon exceed 19K

Recoveries from coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Central Luzon have exceeded 19,826 as of Thursday, with 716 new recoveries reported.

The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the region is now at 22,939 according to the Department of Health-Central Luzon Center for Health Development (DOH-CLCHD).

Currently, there are 2,314 active cases or 10.1 percent of total patients; out of these, 1,440 are mild, 807 are asymptomatic, 57 are severe, and 10 are in critical condition.

The death toll has risen to 799 with nine new fatalities reported.

On Tuesday, the DOH-CLHD reported that 83.4 percent of those who tested positive for Covid-19 have recovered, totaling 18,770 recoveries out of 22,518 cases.
