Senators see strong cases against suspended Mayor Guo linked to POGOs

Senator Risa Hontiveros and Senator Sherwin Gatchalian have expressed increased confidence in the strength of cases against suspended Bamban Mayor Alice Guo following a Senate executive session.

Government agencies provided evidence suggesting Guo's involvement with POGOs, including her role in processing documents for the raided POGO hub.

During Wednesday’s press briefing, Hontiveros stated that documentary evidence and inputs from resource persons confirmed Guo's connection to the POGO hub in Bamban.

Gatchalian disclosed during the Kapihan sa Senado forum on Thursday that there is 'concrete evidence' linking Guo to criminal syndicates involved with POGOs in Bamban.

The disclosure indicates deep connections between the mayor and enforcement agencies like the police and Bureau of Immigration.
