PAOCC prepares tax evasion complaints against suspended Bamban Mayor Guo

The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) is preparing tax evasion complaints against suspended Bamban Mayor Alice Guo.

Mayor Guo is currently being questioned by the Senate regarding her identity and connections to a raided Philippine offshore gaming operator hub in her town.

Winston Casio, PAOCC spokesperson, stated that they have identified administrative violations, including significant tax evasion which they intend to pursue against Mayor Guo.

Casio also mentioned the possibility of filing complaints for securities regulation code violations involving officials from Hong Sheng, Zun Yuan, and Baofu.

The preventive suspension issued against Guo will help investigators gain access to necessary records and documents.

Last March 13, authorities raided a 10-hectare area operated by Zun Yuan Technology Inc., rescuing around 800 individuals and uncovering illegal activities.
