Hontiveros presents evidence linking Guo's mother to Chinese citizen Lin

Senator Risa Hontiveros has presented new evidence suggesting that Bamban Mayor Alice Guo's mother could be Chinese citizen Wenyi Lin.

Documents from the Bureau of Internal Revenue show that Lin shares an address with Guo’s father, Jian Zhong Guo. Additionally, travel records indicate Lin and Guo’s father traveled together over 170 times in six years.

Senator Sherwin Gatchalian stated based on his investigation that Lin could be Guo's biological mother.

Guo has previously claimed Amelia Leal as her Filipino mother but Hontiveros questions this claim due to inconsistencies and lack of records for Amelia Leal.

The senators argue if Wenyi Lin is proven to be Guo’s mother, she would need to relinquish Philippine citizenship, facing legal consequences such as a quo warranto petition against her position.
