Gatchalian urges DNA test for Guo and alleged mother Lin Wen Yi

Senator Sherwin Gatchalian urged Mayor Alice Guo of Bamban, Tarlac, to undergo a DNA test with Lin Wen Yi, her alleged biological mother, following information from sources in Valenzuela who have worked with the Guo family.

Gatchalian cited residents in Valenzuela who introduced Lin Wen Yi as Guo's mother and said that some people know Guo’s mother by the name 'Winnie,' which could be a nickname for 'Wen Yi'.

Documents from the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Securities and Exchange Commission indicate that Mayor Alice Guo, her siblings Shiela and Siemen Guo, father Jian Zhong Guo, and Lin Wen Yi are co-incorporators in at least seven businesses.

Based on their flight records, Guo's father and Wen Yi flew together 140 times over a period of seven to eight years, indicating a close relationship.

Guo continues to deny allegations of ties to illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators and provides conflicting details about her upbringing while facing scrutiny from the Senate.
