Sen. Sotto denies preference for Pfizer vaccine

Senate President Vicente Sotto III denied that senators prefer Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines over Sinovac following President Rodrigo Duterte's mocking remarks.

Duterte mentioned 25 deaths in Norway after Pfizer vaccinations and offered to order them for senators, which Sotto dismissed as a misunderstanding of the Senate's position.

Sotto believes the president was misinformed about the Senate's hearings on the government's COVID-19 immunization program.
