Duterte to get COVID-19 vaccine privately

President Rodrigo Duterte's decision to receive the COVID-19 vaccine privately is his personal choice, according to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.

Roque stated that Duterte will take the route of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip by getting vaccinated in private, despite earlier statements suggesting he would be inoculated publicly to encourage public trust.

Malacañang dismissed rumors circulating on social media that Duterte has already received a vaccine shot along with his security detail.
