San Miguel Beermen beat Barangay Ginebra 100-83 in PBA semifinals

San Miguel Beermen secured a dominant victory over Barangay Ginebra San Miguel with a score of 100-83 in Game 2 of the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals on Friday.

Despite June Mar Fajardo playing limited minutes due to a calf injury, Marcio Lassiter stepped up as the leading scorer for San Miguel with 16 points and four three-pointers, helping the team tie the series at one game apiece.

Coach Leo Austria praised Lassiter's performance, noting his experience and ability to lead the Beermen in Fajardo's absence.

Don Trollano contributed significantly with 14 points, while Kris Rosales added 13 points and Mo Tautuaa finished with a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds.

With Fajardo still doubtful to be at full strength for Game 3 on Sunday at Araneta Coliseum, San Miguel is expected to rely heavily on Lassiter again as they aim for a crucial 2-1 lead.
