Robredo urges focus on COVID-19, not charter change

Vice President Leni Robredo urged government officials on Sunday to focus on combating the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) rather than pursuing other issues like constitutional reforms.

Robredo noted that the government was too distracted by matters such as the shutdown of ABS-CBN and the Anti-Terror Law, instead of addressing the pandemic.

She emphasized that charter change would not help in stopping the transmission of COVID-19 in the country.
