DFA: 14,812 total COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad

As of Monday, February 22, the Department of Foreign Affairs logged 14,812 total cases of COVID-19 among Filipinos abroad.

The number of recoveries increased to 9,309 after eight more individuals recovered from the illness, while the death toll remained at 1,014.

The Middle East/Africa region has the highest number of confirmed cases with 8,131 infections and 662 deaths, followed by Asia Pacific with 2,874 cases including 21 fatalities.

Europe recorded a total of 2,935 Filipinos infected with the virus, resulting in 125 deaths and 1,922 recoveries. The Americas have reported 872 cases with 206 fatalities and 582 recoveries.
