PAGASA warns scattered rains across west-central Philippines

A low-pressure area (LPA) and the tail-end of a frontal system will cause cloudy conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over several western and central Philippine regions, including Metro Manila, MIMAROPA, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Bangsamoro Regions, and Visayas.

PAGASA warned against possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rain.

The LPA was located 75 kilometers east-northeast of Puerto Princesa City on Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rain over Central Luzon, Cagayan, and Isabela, while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain are expected in the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and rest of Cagayan Valley.
