Rain or Shine eliminated from PBA Commissioner's Cup after losing to TNT in five games

Rain or Shine was eliminated from the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup after losing to TNT Tropang Giga in five games.

Despite leading by as much as 13 points, Rain or Shine fell to the Tropang Giga, 92-97, on Friday at the Araneta Coliseum.

Coach Yeng Guiao expressed optimism about his team's future, noting that they had a chance to win every game but lacked mental toughness in closing out matches.

Guiao praised import Deon Thompson's performance during the playoffs and acknowledged the need for local players to improve their scoring consistency and experience in high-pressure situations.

The coach remained proud of reaching the semifinals, citing it as a significant achievement despite not advancing further.
