Rain in Northern Luzon, fair elsewhere

PAGASA expects rain in Batanes, Babuyan Islands, and Cagayan due to a trough from an LPA inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

The rest of Northern Luzon will experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Monday as another LPA approaches from outside PAR.

Most parts of the country, including Metro Manila, are expected to have fair weather with isolated afternoon or evening rain showers.

PAGASA is monitoring two LPAs; one inside PAR and another outside, both with low chances of developing into tropical cyclones in the near future.
