PAGASA: Rain showers expected in northern Luzon

PAGASA forecasts overcast skies and scattered rain showers in parts of northern Luzon on Monday due to Typhoon Neneng's trough, which has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur are expected to experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, while Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, and Western Visayas may see moderate to heavy rains due to southwesterly surface wind flow.

Flash floods or landslides could occur in these areas due to the weather conditions.
