Rain showers over PH due to easterlies, ITCZ

Some areas in the Philippines will experience rain showers on Wednesday due to the influence of easterly winds over eastern Luzon and Visayas, and the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao.

PAGASA warns that scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in Aurora and Isabela because of the easterlies, while Caraga, Davao region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will see similar conditions due to the ITCZ.

Flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate to heavy rainfall.

Metro Manila and other parts of the country will have isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.
