PAGASA raises red rainfall warnings for multiple areas due to Rolly

PAGASA raised red rainfall warnings on Sunday for several areas due to Super Typhoon Rolly, including Quezon province, Occidental Mindoro, Northern Palawan, Albay, Camarines Sur, Sorsogon, Camarines Norte, Masbate, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and parts of Samar and Eastern Samar.

Quezon province's red warning includes 21 municipalities and cities, with serious flooding expected in flood-prone areas.

Occidental Mindoro and Northern Palawan are also under red warnings due to potential severe flooding and landslides in mountainous regions.

Albay and seven other areas face red warnings for heavy rains, posing threats of severe flooding near river channels and landslides in prone areas.

Orange rainfall warnings were issued for Catanduanes and Northern Samar, with flooding threatening low-lying areas and landslides possible in mountainous zones.

Yellow warnings cover Batangas, parts of Quezon province, Biliran, Samar, Eastern Samar, Leyte, Aklan, Capiz, northern portions of Iloilo and Antique.
