PPCRV seeks 400K volunteers for election audit

The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) is seeking additional volunteers to support its operations following the 2025 Philippine elections.

As of Wednesday, May 14, PPCRV has received around 11,860 election returns, representing about 12.71% of total ERs in the country.

PPCRV spokesperson Ana Singson emphasized the importance of their audit to verify the integrity of transmitted votes and aims to process 97.38% of all transmitted votes.

Singson hopes to mobilize over 400,000 volunteers similar to the number deployed during the 2022 election, stressing that 'this is just really all service'.

Volunteers have shown remarkable dedication, braving challenging conditions such as heavy rains in San Pablo and Malolos, and crossing rivers and rocky terrains in Maguindanao to deliver ERs.
